Did you know the value of your customer’s information (asset) is different at different stages?
An asset is essentially the data or information of your customer (name, email address, products they’ve purchased from you).
Let’s say an email address is worth $1.
So you get a customer to give you an email address – their value is not at $1. (Aweber is a great software for creating and managing your email list) Let’s say you develop the relationship with this customer and they give you their phone number. The value of this customer is now at $5 because the communication lines are deeper and have widened. You now have means to contact them in TWO ways instead of ONE.
You’re more easily able to convert them to a customer when you have a deeper relationship with them. Perhaps they buy a product from your site. Now, because you have their email address, phone number, address and they’ve converted to a customer – their value is now much higher than when they initially started.
