I want to share with you today is it too late to start a YouTube channel in 2020?
As we ramp up for January, let me answer this question for you right now.
More about Instant Money Solution
A lot of people that are interested in starting a YouTube channel are trying to make some side income.
If you’re trying to make some side income, there are so many ways to go about it. And one of them is a YouTube channel.
There are many other ways to make a side income. You do crafts; you could babysit or things like that.
Some of those ways are a lot faster. If you need money instantly, the quickest way to make money right away is to do some service.
If you do a service, you perform the service, and you collect money that same day that same week. And that is usually the fastest way. If I clean a house, I’m going to get paid after I clean that house. If I work at a fast-food restaurant, after I’ve done the work for a couple of weeks, I’m getting paid for that.
Starting a YouTube
This is the big thing that people don’t get to understand when it comes to starting a YouTube channel.
This is a business.
And when you’re starting a business, it takes time for money and profits to come in. That’s because YouTube is not sure if you’re legitimate. YouTube is not sure if you’re going to continue sticking around and hanging around.
For you to generate money from YouTube is going to take time. That’s the big hurdle and an issue. You have to sort in your mind right away is this a short-term thing, or is it a long-term thing?
YouTube in 2020 – YES OR NO?
And it would be best if you looked at the bigger picture. If you’ve already decided you want to get into YouTube, you need to ask yourself: is it worth it in 2020?
And the short answer is yes and no.
It is worth it if you think of YouTube as part of your business. If we look at your full business construct, let’s say this is your business – creating paper crafts and selling birthday cards.
Well, YouTube is just a small part of that. Remember, you also have the sales part of that. You might be selling the cards. You might be teaching classes or courses about those cards.
You might coach some people about it. There are so many different ways to go about it. There might be some affiliates that are in there. And this now is your business construct. And that’s what people don’t get and don’t understand when they’re starting a YouTube channel.
They think that YouTube is this whole big box. And it’s not. It’s just a part of it, and the rest of these other things make up your total income from your business. That’s what I want you to start thinking about is that there are little parts and pieces that start working together to creating and making your business whole.
That’s because if you’re looking to make a side income for 6 months or maybe the next 2-3 years because you have kids, YouTube might not be the way to go.
It might be better that you pick up a few extra kids to babysit them. It might be better to do some diaper studies here and there. It might be better that you do some crafts on the side and sell them on Etsy.
And that’s the big picture, and the big thing I want to let you know about is that you need to look at it as a business.
Products on Backstage Income Website & YouTube Channel
If you check out what I have here on our website at the Backstage Income website, you could see there’re books, courses, one-on-one coaching, and things like that.
As you can see, people can buy a product. They could buy a service, a book and some of these things we have coming out soon.
You could check out some of the freebies section. You can download a bunch of these PDFs if you’re serious about starting a business or getting some insights on passive income and some YouTube niches that pay out some serious money.
With that in mind, you have to look at your future YouTube channel like a business. And if you’re thinking that you’re just going to make money from YouTube – that’s not the whole business part of it.
You’re missing part of the formula.
And when you start putting together the revenue from the books, the courses, the coaching the YouTube side now all of a sudden it makes sense. And it makes it worthwhile.
That’s because your business has legs and sustainability. That’s what I want to leave you with today is that think about it as a business.
It’s not too late to start a YouTube channel in any year so long as that it’s helping you drive traffic to your bigger picture, to your business.
That’s because the deeper you get with a client and your customer, they want a product or service. They don’t just want to watch videos. They want to connect with you more. They want to engage with you more. They want to do a meet-up, a one-on-one.
And that’s ultimately where more money and revenue starts coming in. It’s the same thing that artists do when it comes to concerts.
Initially, what happens is you’re listening to music. Then you want to go to a concert. And the relationship now is deeper, and you’ve coughed off more money to go and see them in person.
