Are you running YouTube channel videos or trying to make YouTube videos to sell your product or service? Great!
Video is a huge platform, but there’s something you need to understand how to take people to the next step in your YouTube videos.
We’ve worked with a lot of different people in our team. The team that I have that does a lot of my YouTube videos is videoacorn. This is a subsidiary company.
We do video editing, thumbnail design, YouTube optimization, and much more.
A lot of the free content and videos, you can see here at backstageincome.
Creating sales with YouTube
There’s a step-by-step procedure that you have to think about. There’s an actual process that you should go through.
Typically, I find that people try to get to the fastest point as possible.
If we’re trying to start something, we hop from one thing to the next and that leap, that distance is a lot bigger than what it really should be.
We should have smaller in-between points.
We could hop from one rock to the next.
Because if you have a big great white shark over here, it could be a serious problem if you’re hopping over the water. You got to take smaller steps, break it down in chunks. It’s like crossing a long bridge; it’s easier to do it in stride.
What a lot of business owners do, especially when they’re trying to make their videos, is you’ve got this process and procedure.
Typically, they start people off here with a product. This product could be a $10 item, but once they get that lead, they hop over to their $997 item in their YouTube video.
That leap is intense!
It depends on the industry you’re in. I have another YouTube channel tradersfly, which we focus on the finance niche, trading investing. A lot of the people that deal in that industry have money. They have wealth, and they invest money. For them, $1,000 is not a big deal.
But in your industry, you have to think about the leap that people are willing to make.
What should you be focusing on?
Focus on the next step.
You can’t take people from one step to the next. It’s like going from level one black belt or white belt here. You got a white belt in karate, and then you go to a black belt. It just doesn’t work that way.
It’s like being pregnant. You don’t go from being pregnant, and then you got a baby the next day.
It gives you time to get the crib, prepare what’s to come, and how you deal with all this — That’s the same thing.
You’ve got a $10 product; then you might go to a $49 product. Then, you might go to $299 product and somewhere in between like $499.
It’s all a process and procedure which creates the stair-step effect.
Your end goal at every point, there’s this tipping point.
Let’s say you’re in the martial arts. If I’m interested in getting a black belt, that might take you ten years. You got to put in also by the time all the fees — let’s say $8,000, depending on the monthly expenses.
It’s not going to tip because you’re trying to get this seesaw effect.
What you need to do is in your YouTube videos, you stack value a little bit at a time.
If you’re not getting sales at your next level, but something in between that level in terms of price. Please put something in between to tie them, to pull them into the next step in the following process.
