If you’re brand new to the online space, maybe you’ve never made any money online — you’ve always gone and had a job. They paid you money as you’ve worked and exchanged time for money. That’s perfectly okay.
Today, I’m going to share with you the fastest way to make your first dollar online.
A lot of people have an idea of what they already want to do. They either want to build an online course or to do affiliate marketing — those things are great and fantastic. They can make you a lot of money.
It’s probably where all the hype is coming from and why you’re so excited.
But remember, those things take a lot of time and energy to develop. By the time you get there, you might have many, many failures before you get the peak success or some of the progress you’ve seen.
What’s happening is you’re getting attracted to the numbers that you’re seeing. Ultimately, it took a long time to get to those numbers.
There are a handful of ways that you can make money online.
One of those ways is, of course, online courses. If you’re looking at courses, you could do that.
You could start a YouTube channel.
You could do affiliate marketing.
There are a lot of different ways to create money online, but all these things take time.
Like how long does it take to record a course?
It could take multiple weeks. It could take numerous months.
Some of the courses I work on take quite a while, but that’s because I’m doing a lot of other business.
Let’s say; this takes maybe two months by the time you get editing and so on. And you don’t even know how the sales are going to work.
You got to have a handful of subscribers before you even get your first dollar.
Even then, those dollars might be very slim. You might need a hundred subscribers or a thousand subscribers, depending on the algorithm and then, of course, advertising dollars.
It takes a couple of months for all that to play out.
The same thing. You need a website — sometimes to be able to get the clicks. Then all of a sudden, with time with, as you build out the network and your traffic and then you might make a buck or two.
BUT how do you accelerate things the fastest?
The biggest thing is to offer a service.
If I have a one-on-one coaching call right now, and we discuss your strategy to make money.
I could charge you $49. I could charge you $99. I could charge you $299. I could charge you much more.
It just depends on my expertise and how much you’re willing to pay.
One of the fastest ways is doing service and coaching service. You could just have a phone — call someone. They pay you through PayPal –through any gateway stripe. You name it, they give you money and then you’ve offered that service.
Not everybody’s going to do that because they might not know your credibility. They might not know your history and your experience, but that’s one way to ramp things up.
Anytime you have a service, you can collect that money almost immediately.
Here are a lot of the things that I’ve done in the past.
You can see when I’ve talked about writing or creating a book, you could write books to make money, but again this takes a lot of time.
You can see all the different courses that I’ve worked on. They take a lot of time, and I continue to build out courses because they are great. They can make you a great deal of money, especially if you get a large number of people that purchase your courses. But they take a long time to set up.
We’ve perfected the process. It’s a lot faster for us to do the courses.
But when you deal with Coaching.
I could do a one-on-one call a service call with somebody. They could pay me $295, $895,
You make that money for an hour of your time.
There are a lot of different ways you could offer service. You don’t have to provide one-on-one coaching services; there are services such as on Fiverr or Upwork.
If you want to do some voiceover — you have a decent microphone or laptop with a decent microphone, you do a little bit of a voiceover and charge people for that.
You could take a look just depending on your skill sets.
You could do some basic video animation, music, and audio.
If you’re a singer, you could sing something and do some vocals.
If you have some business knowledge and concepts or even just being a virtual assistant to help people out — for example, edit PDFs, Excel sheets, all those things.
There are so many different things that you could do.
But when you do a service, you’re going to get paid almost immediately.
So, you perform the service. Let’s say you do a translation for someone. You translate from English to French. Now, what you can see is there are people right here.
I will translate 400 words from French to English. This person has had over a thousand orders and charging five dollars apiece. So, that’s almost four or five thousand dollars by the time you get down to commissions and so on. This could have been more.
Let’s say I need two thousand words translated. Well, that’s now thirty dollars. You can see how this can ramp up.
But imagine you got an order right now through one of these agencies or a talent scouting place. You got a request. You do that order and within a week. You got paid rather than creating a website.
Those things are great.
When it comes to courses, writing books, you’re getting some more passive income — one of the things we have on our backbone and in my business is a service-based business.
Take a look. We do cover design book editing and formatting through my team. You pay upfront. We design your cover.
There’s no waiting around for the check to come in from Google. It’s boom boom, we’re done, and we take a little bit of a cut.
I might pay someone $99 to design the ebook, and then the rest of it goes towards the company or myself and the rest of the team depending on who works on things.
It gets distributed.
The service is one of the fastest ways to make your first dollar.
You could create multiple different service offerings. Here, we might be catering to professional ebook covers. Others might be providing towards creating a second website where you’re focusing on fiction and another one nonfiction. Another one for people who are into fantasy type books because every audience is focused or interested in a different connection with the person they’re working with.
You could do this in any industry.
Photography industry — if you create one website that focuses on baby and maternity and another one that’s on weddings and another one that’s on sports. All of a sudden, you have three mini businesses. But it’s focused and specific to the customer. You’re offering that service.
Anyways, that’s the fastest way that you can make your first dollar online by offering a service to your audience.
It’s not about the online courses, the books, the affiliate marketing, and all those things are great. It can continue to ramp up your profits. Continue to give you some more passive income. But it’s the service that’ll get you your first dollar the fastest.
