If you’re at the end of the book-writing process and struggling to get to the finish line, you’re not alone.
But I want you to remember that when you’re talking about books and products – it’s never truly finished. It’s always growing and evolving (non-fiction, fiction is a different thing altogether).
With how-to books, you can change and evolve the content as times go on. It’s never just a “finished” product. You have the unique ability to be able to update your book and product and still keep the spirit of the topic the same.
So instead of looking at your book in terms of “is, this finished,” think of it in terms of stages. For example, when you’re almost ready to publish for the first time, think to yourself, “is this a first edition book?” Is this a book that has value? And maybe months or a year down the road, you think to yourself, “is this ready for another layer of content? Pictures?”
In the end, your book is an ever-changing, evolving product, and it’s never really finished!
