There’s a lot of brand new people who are into blogging but they’re not sure which path or direction to take, do you focus and concentrate more on the marketing side or do you look at the blogging side meaning do you look at writing the articles, publishing the conten,t getting your website going or do you concentrate on marketing, planning things out to getting traffic and so on.
It’s kind of the chicken and the egg, you do need both marketing and blogging.
You need both because combining these together is where the success lies.

If you just have the marketing but you don’t have the blogging you might have all the traffic but no content
Or if you just have the blogging, you might have a lot of content but you don’t have the traffic coming into your blog.
So when you look at figuring out what to concentrate and focus on is it marketing or is it blogging first.
Normally, what you want to do is you will want to go in tandem, do it together and make sure that you have both but really starting out with marketing is kind of probably the first spot you want to look at.
If you can’t get the traffic you really can’t get the views.
You can’t get the visitors and that becomes a problem.
All that really stems out with doing a business plan ahead of time.
So if you have the business plan and thinking about your marketing plan where are the viewers or visitors coming from.
How are you going to get the traffic if you can’t figure out how to get the traffic or get people to your product or service that’s going to be a problem.
So going in with the marketing approach is usually the first step but sometimes it’s tough to test that until you do have some content pieces.
Step-by-step process
Write or blog a few pieces
Next step is to mark it and to test the theory
If it works you have the results
If it doesn’t work then you basically have a problem so then you redo or change things up.

That’s kind of what you’re looking for.
“What’s my step-by-step process as I go into doing all of this” because if you go and write a bunch of blogs and then you’ve got 3 000 posts but you got no traffic that’s problem.
The other thing is if you’ve got let’s say only two posts but you mark it and you have a bunch of traffic kind of saturating the traffic going into the two posts then again you don’t have enough content then to scale.
So you do need both but you have to test all of this out so take that step-by-step approach as you do this.
Definitely, you need both.
You need the marketing side and the blogging side, the one to start out with first is probably make sure you understand the marketing of how you can get the traffic, the views, the visitors, people coming to your website.
Also planning out the products on how you are going to get the sales, how you are going to get the services and the products created.
How you are going to manage your team, what kind of team do you need to really grow that type of business.
Basically that comes down to also your personal abilities, your flexibility your time availability and your skill sets.
What is it that you can and cannot do, are you able to create your own website are you able to manage your own content, are you able to convert your videos and create thumbnails for videos.
All of these things start to add up as you start building a blog business.
