A lot of people are interested in producing a lot of content right
More content > more views > more subscribers > more business > more money
You’re looking at kind of this longer term approach, but how do you do that? So that way it’s kind of automated repeating all on loop cycles and that way you’re not wasting a lot of time.
So I’m gonna share with you this tip and trick that I use and we’ve been doing it for quite a while. What we do is we look at automating, we look at efficiency.
Let’s hone in on this. This is called Integromat.
What we do is we use a database structure. I use things like Airtable and as we put things into Airtable like a database, let’s say we add something here in our blog content for backstage income.
You can see we can have fields, it’s kind of like excel but more powerful where you could use images and that kind of thing.
We just check off the things we’ve done, not done, WordPress. Those things are added affiliates were added and so on.
But what happens here is as we add a post, first, it does a quick little error check:
- Is there a date scheduled?
- Is there a website assigned to it?
- Is there a title is there a video URL?
If all those things are good, it moves forward.
So now the question is, which website does it follow through or flow?
If the website equals backstageincome, under the field then what it does is it adds it in the Google Calendar.
So now we know and we have a posting schedule as we look into a calendar on Google. Then it goes ahead and posts it right away into our WordPress website.
Think about this, it already posts it and schedules it. So I have it right there here’s the title.
Content is going to be “detailed article coming soon” because we write out the content with time. You have to put something in the content.
The date is, the “Date Scheduled”. Scheduled for the future. It basically is added in there and it’s basically good to go. Then we’ll add a couple of task lists for the team members. Then is pretty much set up our posting schedule and it’s automated.
So the minute that add a quick little record in Airtable, which goes into our content section.
Then we automate the process of going to Google Calendar > WordPress.
Some task lists that need to be done, it’s all done for you.
This is the power of automation. This is what we hone in and focus on as far as creating and outputting a lot of content to getting into our blog.
Once you start going in and let’s say you have to go here’s our website.
Let’s say you go ahead and try to go into this blog and we’ve got the YouTube video done.
Now I’ve got to move a card over or it’s the task was assigned I got to assign this task to my employee or my worker or my team. Then they have to do it then they have to fix.
You know mention something in the card, move it over. That process, even though it may not take long, that starts to add up.
It takes seconds for them to load the website, it takes seconds for them to move the card to read it, it takes seconds to log into the website to post this.
Here, it’s all done. It’s all done automatically. All of these are done automatically. The one thing we do have to do sometimes is we’ll have to post a featured image periodically and we have to do the content
So here as we actually here’s another one of regarding Airtable. We have the content scheduled here but there’s no kind of article there.
Eventually we catch up, like once a month we do these things and we look back and which ones are missing text.
If we’re looking for content for the long term, over the next two three years that this content’s good it’s okay if we get to the text version a month later and you know pay someone to take care of that to transcribing it, to editing it and making it more of an article.
What we do is we just extract the images from the videos and put them into the post there.
That’s the way that we do it.
We automate things, we schedule it and get it into the website.
It’s a lot faster process than manually doing it, interacting with the team, it’s all is taken care of.
Then the team can focus on more specific things, like on more important things like marketing clients.
Those kinds of things are much more valuable than just scheduling things on our blog or website.
