Are you afraid of being on youtube or starting your YouTube video? Not sure what to say? I’m going to show you a little trick on how to get started — if you’re terrified to jump the gun on filming a YouTube video.
A lot of people, when they get started, they’re scared. They don’t know how to start it.
One Little Trick…
One little trick and technique I learned, and I’m not exactly sure where I picked this up, but as far as starting your YouTube videos, what was helpful for me at the beginning was to count backward.
If you can count backward from five, four, three, two, and now, you can start recording your YouTube video.
Eventually, it’ll become so common. But if you’re brand new, you’re just getting started, and you’ve got a little bit of nervousness — then, in that case, one of the ways to do that is to get yourself ready for liftoff or blast off.
Doing a countdown activates your mind that you’re going to get ready to go in the same way that a sprinter does. They’re waiting, waiting, waiting, and then boom when they hear that shotgun. They’re ready to rock it and fire.
So, I would recommend you try this concept. Don’t just try it once and then give up if it didn’t work the first time. But try it five or six times, as you record some of the videos there, especially if you’re the one that has a little fear in you or unsure about the camera, give it a shot.
And I think you’ll find that over time, once you do it five or six times, it starts to work.
It pushes you to get over the hurdle a bit more, and that way you’ll get more practice. You’ll be a little more confident over time. And the more videos that you do, eventually, this will probably fade out, and you won’t even need it.
Anyways, that’s my quick little tip for you. I would also recommend you check out some of the freebies and goodies that I have on our backstage income website, https://backstageincome.com/freebies/ if you haven’t been there already. Check that out and download a ton of excellent pdfs and guides that my team and I have done and created over the last year or two.
