How to Design a Business Card that Sells & Makes You Money

July 29th, 2015

You’ve probably seen traditional business cards that follow the same methods that have been used for years:

Logo on one side | Information (name, phone number, email address) on the other.

This is what many business owners use for their business cards but did you know that there are other ways to step out of the box to utilize your business cards and actually make money off of them? The main difference is in asking the customer to complete an action. Traditional = no action required. Non Traditional = action required.

Here’s an example of a traditional business card versus a business card that sells.

Phone #
Email Address

to get your free
report on ______.

Asking your potential customer to take action doesn’t always mean giving them a direct URL – you could put a QR code on the back or ask them to connect with you via social media. The message on the card is what sets it apart from traditional business cards.
